Accident and emergency care is available 24/7. Outpatient and specialist services may require an appointment or referral; confirm arrangements with the hospital.

Payment for foreign visitors

Public healthcare eligibility and charges depend on residency, entitlement documents and the service required. Visitors should carry an EHIC or GHIC where applicable and suitable travel insurance.
